Merensky deliver two best in Limpopo!

Despite all the negative comments in the media about the poor matric results, Merensky High School can proudly say that the class of 2015 held the school's name high. These results confirm Merensky's academic excellence.

Two Plasies, Andrea Devenish and Kristie Badenhorst were invited to the Limpopo prize giving that took place in Polokwane on 6 January 2016. Andrea is ninth in the Top 30 performers and was named the best Computer Applications Technology (CAT) learner in the province. Merensky is walking away with this reward the third year in a row. Kristie boasts the award for the best Business Studies student in Limpopo.

Andrea Devenish, Thokozile Khoza and Kristie Badenhorst also achieved the best results in the Tzaneen circuit.

(An improvement of more than 30 A's from 2014. An average of 1.6 distinctions per candidate.)
Baccalaureus candidates: 112
(70% – This is a significant improvement on 2014's 59%.)
Diploma candidates: 45 (28%)
Higher Certificate candidates: 3 (1.87%)
