Merensky boasts a 100% pass rate

The Grade 12 learners and teachers of Merensky High School once again demonstrated their academic excellence by achieving a 100% pass mark during the 2017 matriculation examination for the 4th consecutive year.

In addition, the top 10 learners showed their academic strength by combining a total of 64 distinctions.

Valeriia Avdysh has achieved an average of 92.1% and 8 distinctions in English home language, Afrikaans addisionele taal, mathematics, life orientation, accounting, computer application technology, life sciences and physical sciences. She was also invited to the provincial press conference and award ceremony where she was crowned as the 23rd best performer in Limpopo. Lera's dream is to study medical at Stellenbosch University and eventually become a neurosurgeon.
