Welcome, class of 2023

Out with the old. In with the new. Merensky High School welcomed some of their new grade 8s and parents on Saturday, 17 November 2018, at Plasiepark. At the break of dawn it was all systems go when the Plasie team, consisting of sports coaches and learners, set up to receive the more than 100 eager beaver newcomers. The aim of this initiative was to introduce them to athletics and winter sports, the Plasie way. Nobody was deterred by the extreme heat, as the saying goes: ‘n Plasie gaan lê nooit. Plasie hockey players selected for Limpopo Leopards

For the past two weekends a number of mixed teams from local high schools have been playing a friendly indoor hockey tournament at Stanford Lake College. On Monday, 24 September, trials were held to establish the Limpopo Leopards provincial teams, who will be travelling to Gauteng in October to participate in the All Stars Tournament, as well as to Cape Town in December, where they will play in the PSI Indoor Nationals.
