Hat trick for Merensky cricket

In an exceptionally good week on the pitch, Merensky’s first team enjoyed a hat trick by winning against Nkowankowa, The Oaks and Phalaborwa.

The u.15 boys took their lead in their game against Hoërskool Montana on Saturday, 11 February. The Plasies enjoyed home ground advantage scoring 200 runs after 50 overs. Gerhardus Fourie and Rinus Jacobs took the lead with 3 wickets each. Montana could only manage 135 runs and bowed the knee to the Plasies who were victorious with 65 runs.

Mubin Patel scored 67 runs, Jaden Rheeder 46 runs (not out) and Rinus Jacobs 30 runs.
