Ringball South Africa (affiliated with SASCOC) recently announced that several Plasies now carry the title “SA Ringball Player”. The national championships took place from 16 to 22 July in Pretoria.

Merensky High School is proud of Charlize Meyer (captain) and Leoné Slabbert, both in grade 9. They are now part of the Girls u.15 SA Invitational Team. Elyon Els (grade 9) will contribute to the Boys u.15 SA Team, while Devon du Plessis, grade 9 (captain) and Xander Steyn (grade 8) are part of the Boys u.15 SA Invitational Team.

During the trials Elyon, Devon and Xander played for the u.15A team, receiving silver medals.

These teams will be in action with exhibition games from August to October at various venues in South Africa.
