Merensky High School’s cross country teams were a force to be reckoned with during the Inter-high meet at HTS Tom Naudé in Polokwane on Wednesday, 17 August.
Five school competed, and the Merensky girls team reigned victorious. Pietersburg Hoërskool was placed second, and Ben Vorster High School third.
The Plasie boys came second, after Northern Academy with PHS in third place.
This achievement comes as a bonus after a season of commitment and true Plasie endurance. Seven of these athletes will compete in the South African Championships in George on 10 September.
