Merensky soccer is proud to wear their new team jerseys, sponsored by House of Granite in Tzaneen. Mr. Frans le Grange (owner) presented the team captains with their kits on Friday, 2 March.

Merensky High School’s junior soccer team finished runners-up to Eagles Nest in the annual King’s Tournament on Saturday, 26 August. The boys started the day off with a 2-0 win against The King’s Court. They managed to keep Kgapane High School on their feet, with the game ending in a 0-0 draw. Unfortunately they lost 2-1 against the champions, Eagles Nest, wherafter they put another draw score of 1-1 against Khanyisa Education Centre on the score board. The stars of the day were Mark Mafambe, who scored two goals and Mojalefa Mafa and Thato Ngobeni with one goal each.
