Reëls & riglyne

  1. Elke Merensky-leerder wat rugby, netbal of hokkie speel, sal ‘n borgvorm ontvang wat op hulle sportsoort van toepassing is en waarvoor hulle verantwoordelik is.
  2. Dit is ‘n amptelike, bindende dokument. Die inligting op die vorm moet by die betrokke afrigter ingegee word op die dag van die Vastrap.
  3. Dit is elke speler se verantwoordelikheid om die borg- of donasiegeld van die betrokke persone op hulle vorm in te samel.
  4. Alle gelde moet, op ‘n daaglikse basis, aan die betrokke afrigters betaal word.
  5. Die geld wat ingesamel word, word uitsluitlik gebruik vir leerders wat aan die sport deelneem.
  6. Die spelers sal om die atletiekbaan hardloop/stap van 17:00 tot 21:00 op 7 April 2022.
  7. Elke speler sal ‘n kaartjie ontvang waarop die voltooide rondtes afgemerk sal word.
  8. Hierdie kaartjie moet aan die einde van die aand ingegee word.
  9. Indien ‘n ouer wil deelneem deur te hardloop/stap, is hulle welkom, maar hulle sal ook ‘n borgvorm(s) ontvang en alle gelde wat so ingesamel word, gaan vir hulle kind se span.
  10. ‘n Datum is bespreek vir die spanne van elke sportsoort wat die meeste geld insamel, om pizza en melkskommels te gaan geniet saam met die afrigter. Slegs die spanlede wat aan die Vastrap deelgeneem het, kan hierdie uitstappie meemaak.

Algemene inligting:

  1. Alle leerders kom om 16:30 op Plasiepark bymekaar. Na die opening sal leerders vanaf 17:00 hardloop/stap.
  2. Terwyl die deelnemers om die baan hardloop/stap, is toeskouers welkom om hul eie kampstoele te bring en ‘n braai te geniet. Braaipakke sal te koop aangebied word, en vure en bykosse sal voorsien word – dit is ingesluit by die koste van die braaipakke.
  3. Daar sal ‘n snoepie beskikbaar wees waar water, koeldrank, skyfies en lekkergoed te koop aangebied sal word.
  4. ‘n Biertuin sal slegs vir volwassenes beskikbaar wees - geen skoolkinders sal in hierdie area toegelaat word nie!

Rules & regulations

  1. Every Merensky pupil that plays rugby, netball or hockey will get a sponsorship form that is relevant to them and that they are responsible for.
  2. This is an official document that is binding. The form must be returned to the relevant coach on the day of the event.
  3. It is each player’s responsibility to collect the sponsorship or donation money from the relevant persons on their form.
  4. All money must be paid to the relevant coaches daily.
  5. The money raised will go towards the sport that the child is involved in.
  6. The players will walk/run around the athletics track from 17h00 to 21h00 on 7 April 2022.
  7. Each player will receive a card on the night that will be marked for every lap completed.
  8. This card will need to be handed in at the end of the evening.
  9. If a parent wants to participate in walking on the night, they may do so, but they will also receive a sponsorship form(s) and all monies collected must go towards their child’s team.
  10. A date has been set aside for the team(s) of each sport that raises the most amount of money to go for a pizza and a milkshake with the whole team and the coach. Only the team members that participated in this event will be included in this prize.

General information:

  1. All participants must meet at Plasiepark at 16h30.
    After the opening, participants will start walking at 17h00.
  2. While participants are walking around the track, spectators are welcome to bring their own camping chairs and enjoy a braai for supper. Braai packs will be on sale for spectators to cook on fires that will be supplied. Salads and sides will be supplied and included in the cost for the braai packs.
  3. A tuckshop will be available, selling water, cooldrinks, chips and sweets.
  4. A beer garden will be available for adults only - no school children will be permitted to enter!
