On 16 and 17 May Merensky High School presented an original musical production, “Duvet Blues” to a jam packed school hall. From script writing to choreography, the audience enjoyed the best talent Plasieland had to offer.
The stunning stage came alive with quirky school uniforms and costumes, memorable songs, delightful choreography accompanied by superb acting. Various comical scenes depicted why teenagers require an occasional duvet day. Teachers and learners joined hands with creative force, Mrs Mari Weber (Culture Manager), to create a truly remarkable production.
In the words of Merensky’s headmaster, Mr Magnus Steyn: “What a delight to see this big cast enjoying themselves and giving their best. It was a most enjoyable performance.”
