Daar is nie meer inperkings of aandklokreëls nie, gesondheidsbeperkings is opgehef, kulturele en sportaktiwiteite is hervat, en skoliere gaan weer voldag skool toe. Almal wou in dié een jaar als indruk wat hulle tydens die twee vorige jare verloor het. Dit was ‘n jaar van uitsonderlike prestasies op alle gebiede. Sport het die beste in jare gevaar met puik prestasies wat gelewer is.
